Many societies and communities have collected documents, maps, photographs, census details, school and church registers, etc., relating to their areas. These are mostly kept in houses of private individuals but in some cases are available to researchers by prior appointment.
The Local History Association is keen to publicise any local history archive to which the genuine local history researcher can have access and an initial list is given below.
Chipping Campden
