The Gloucestershire Local History Association acts as a communications hub for over 50 local history societies and organisations in Gloucestershire.
We hold quarterly Forum meetings at which representatives from our member groups meet to discuss matters relating to local history in Gloucestershire, listen to a variety of speakers and enjoy talking to like-minded enthusiasts.

Our site provides a list of local history speakers, links to local history organisations in the County, guidance on working with schools, and other useful resources. We try to put enquirers in touch with sources that may give advice or information on local history topics.
